Ok so anyone who knows my user name over on Sek was NascarNickel...hence me being a huge Nascar fan. Yesterday the race was at Kansas. Two rain delays and then finally they get going. Had to shorten the race due to darkness. THen there was a wreck with 4 to go. Usually in this case they have a green a white checker...which is nice b/c it means the race finishes under green. BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, this time Nascar called the race saying it was two dark to race two laps. Why does this piss me off you ask? Well the bug eyed dummy, AKA Greg Biffle, was slated the winner b/c he was leading when the caution came out...what is wrong with that you ask? Well for one he drives a ford, for two he drives for Jack Rousch, and for three HE WAS OUT OF GAS!!!!! I'm sorry but if you can't even get your car back around to finish a race even if it is ending under caution you should not be named the winner. Thats total bullshit! I just want to smack someone from Nascar in the head!
Next week on to Talladega...my favorite track. Been there once. It was awesome. I'm sure there'll be more biased BS going on tho...I'll post it all!

I do't know anything about NASCAR, but sometimes it seems with any of these sports that what they call is not only not fair, it's just palin not right. I watched a football games last SAturday with my daughters, again I don't watch football and don't know anything about it. I don't even remember what happened but I saw something that didn't look right and anyway it wasn't called right, for lack of a better way of putting it.

It just seems like sometimes men do not call things correctly. This probably goes back to the female/Mom thing, but it seems like Mothers are better at looking at the whole picture and all the angles then doing what is fair.

I don't know anything, we don't watch any sports. We follow the NHRA circut and I can't keep that sraight.

I also grew up in a ford family...our cars were always in the shop with recalls and all kinds of crap. I wouldnt own a ford if it were the last brand of car and it was given to me. I'd walk or ride my bike first.

I grew up with a "Chevy Dad" and every chance he gets, he knocks my car. (Lincoln = Ford) Right now its a big primered gray hooptie but it got me to and from Lawrence with NO problems. Although I did see three Chevy's on the side of the road, not moving.


Ill eventually get a pick up truck here soon and I PREFER it to be a Chevy.

I was not just pushing Chevy with this thread. In racing I prefer Chevy's yes...however in everyday life I like lots of brands...Just would never own another ford. I had nothing but probs with mine and everyone i know has had nothing but probs with theirs.
No car is perfect however.
The thread was to mearly bitch about the fact that Nascar bent the rules again so a Rousch Ford driver could win the race. The rule book states that if you can not keep up with the pace car speed then you will fall back. He pulled off the damn track before he even crossed the finish line b/c he was out of gas. Pulled into the rain soaked grass also so that he could claim he wasnt out of gas he got stuck. Thats the second week in a row one of the Rousch drivers have cheated to win the race...Seems as tho thats what the ford drivers have come to b/c they can't win otherwise!!! LOL

Didnt the 'rule bending' start about the time Gordon started racing? Just sayin'...
