I know this will sound dumb, but my tv makes this high pitch whine when it is on, and on the weekends, I don't want to hear it. I want to listen to music, and have the tv off, cause it gives me a headache. Lonnie won't leave the tv off. What kind of torture....er... persuasion can I use on him to make him leave the tv off?

A broom handle through the screen should do it.. Otherwise I would probably venture to say you could buy a new TV....

Im not into persuasion in their favor when it is something that causes pain, and not good pain..

Every tv makes this noise, and I seem to be the only one who hears it. Ick.

We have 1 TV that makes the noise and steve says something is going out inside, the other one doesnt not that I hear anyway..

Sorry you hear it all the time, that would drive me crazy!
