RE: Baby Gates
I used to live a block from the Missouri/Kansas line and I didn't see very many people wearing bras on the outside of their shirts.

RE: Baby Gates
i'm glad to hear that your little one is ok...I would have freaked out! Even though I'm about to have a real baby in the house my doggies are my babies...Especially our Min Pin. She's 8 years old and the biggest baby ever. The new puppy is starting to find her place there too. She's getting much more loveable and hates me to leave her sight.
But i'll take note on the baby gates. I was considering getting one when Caleb starts crawling...now i'm not so sure. Goodness...listen to me. he's not even born yet and I already have him crawling!

And before you know it, he'll be talking and asking for the keys to the car.
I'm not the girl your mother warned you about. Her imagination was never this good.

RE: Baby Gates
They make those baby gates that mount to the door frame, and you can just open and close like a gate, and it hooks to stay shut....
That is what my grandma uses for her zoo full of children she takes care of every day.
Nothing lasts forever
So live it up,
drink it down,
and laugh it off.
Avoid the bullshit,
and take chances.
And never ever have regrets.
Because at one point,
everything I did was
EXACTLY
what I wanted!

RE: Baby Gates
Sounds like a plan! and Babyluv, if you lived here, you'd understand. Its like an ulcer. From the outside it looks okay, but the closer you get, the worse it is, until... Yeah... Its Missouri...
You suck.

LOL@stormenyte
You're right, I'll never know! I lived in Joplin for a while, I loved it. Now we're in a small hick town but close to the modern conveniences.
I sure miss having a restaurant/fast-food place open 24/7 though!

RE: Baby Gates
My brother-in-law was building a makeshift pen on the porch for some baby kitties. Before he had it put together a piece of the wood fell on one of the babies and killed it. He was so upset!

RE: Baby Gates
It's unreal how the smallest of things can harm/kill your beloved animals. One of the little details that is overmissed.
I'm sorry to hear of the poor kitten's fate.
