One fell on my little Murphy (seal-point) Monday morning and he had to be taken to the vet. When I rushed to his side and lifted the gate, the little thing was gasping and trying to meow at his mommy. With those bright blue eyes looking at me for help, I felt worthless.

Crying hysterically (my baby was dieing, as far as I knew!), I called Justin at work- he was calm, cool, and collected and told me to take the little guy to the vet. So--- ( I know some of you hate this ) without my bra and with my clothes thrown-on, I rushed to the vet with my little boy wrapped in a t-shirt.

$65 later- I was going home with my baby and his medicine with my fingers crossed for the best.

Since I work graveyards, I put Murphy beside me in bed and slept very lightly... When I felt him move (he couldn't even walk after the gate fell) up to my face and lay his little head against me, I knew that he was better and would most likely, be ok.

However, I'm pissed off that something so small could have been overlooked! How could a stupid baby gate almost KILL my baby!? Needless to say, they're not sitting against the walls now- they're very much put away.

So- be warned if you have small critters in the house about the dangers that are so easily overlooked.

It makes me sick knowing that something like that could have very well killed my kitten.

Poor kitty.

If you leave the house without your bra on in an emergency, we will forgive you. We all understand and I am sure we all would have done the same thing.

I would be pissed to if my baby got hurt and almost killed. Like I have said before, those babies were blessed when you found them.

At least you weren't wearing your bra outside of your shirt I've known people who have done that
