Have you tried posting the pets on Crawford county freecycle? Pets are posted all the time on there and seem to get homes pretty quickly. I hope they are good homes. I guess you could screen the potential adoptive families. I would take the little doxie if I didn't already have two doxies and a schnauzer and a bassett outside that someone dumped (that we are feeding)! How old is the doxie and what color? Long haired mini doxie is my favorite breed! I've owned three of them in the last 25 years and I still have one.

We have a piebold (?) doxie and he is a pain in the rear. I think we need a slower dog. We been looking for a good foster home that would take his crazy ass for a while.
