my knight in shining white
he looks all tarnish and dented
something isn’t right

the genie just laughed at me
I think thats kind of fucked up.
Where is my fairy tale turreted castle
with spiraling towers and moat
it lies in rubble on the ground
who ordered it to be bulldozed?
Man, who ever wrote this fairy tale
must be out of their mind
the wolf got the little pigs
and Robin Hood robs you blind
So where is my galloping stead
instead I have a lame deaf ass
no leather saddle trimmed in gold
just this old rotten smelly sack
And what about the gorgeous dress
made of silk and fair maiden’s dreams
I don’t think it had any burlap
or was falling apart at the seams
Lets not even talk about the ball
you can’t even make me go
I wished for fantasy and light
instead, elevator music drones
Man, who ever wrote this fairy tale
is a sick and twisted man
the old witch ate Hanzel and Gretel
and leprechaun pots are filled with sand
Well I’ve had it with this fairy tale
it isn’t supposed to be this way
my evil step mother is a transvestite
and I swear Repunzel’s weave is fake
I’m moving out of this fantasy kingdom
the neighborhood has gone to hell
the seven dwarfs rob liquor stores
and Snow White is for sale
I’m suing my fairy Godmother too
for breach of contract and mental grief
she lied, stole, gave me the wrong shoes
I think the judge will side with me
And man, who ever wrote this fairy tale
he better move out of town
