Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Lots going on and kind of depressed. I need some help. I'm trying to find an inexpensive place to take our grandson camping. In a two or three hour radius. I want to rent a cabin because I am not in the shape or health to tent. Anybody have any experience with any places like Stockton, etc.? I don't want Farlington because he goes there all the time. He's there right now and it has rained on his parade (so to speak) since last night when their tent collapsed on them. I know he will be disappointed and would like to take him on another trip the first week of August before school starts. Thanks everyone.

If you make it down to Branson which qualifies as 2-3 hrs away check out Tall Pines Campground. It is relatively reasonable and a beautiful place to stay. They have cabins with AC. 2 shower houses. Awesome place to stay. And btw maamaa nice to see you around...........ANd it is around a mile from Silver Dollar City........................
