Nope....to all of the above. The pay issue happened before xmas, we went out there the Sat after xmas, He did pay the cover charge to get in, and he didn't talk to anyone except Melanie, and another waitress, said to them if they know anyone who needs a DJ let him know. Otherwise we were with a large group and hung out with them.....

I dont doubt thats what REALLY happened. These are the same people (or more specifically...person) who told us that the head-on collision (HWY 47 and 69) happened at midnight. It happened at 1:50am.

I/we were told that he walked in, paid the cover charge and had a great time talking to "former" co-workers and telling them it wasnt a big deal and if they needed anything from him, to let him know. It sounded a bit odd when I heard this and I didnt think J would be that cordial. We were also told how it REALLY went down the night of the pay dispute. Again, odd.

Yeah, I have never met a DJ who was nice when it comes to money.

Actually, he was pretty nice about it considering the circumstances. I told him he was a better person than me because I would have packed everything up the second the pay changed.

That is true, but I still don't see a DJ returning and huggin on people and offering his assistance. *shrugs*

Yeah it is great how things get turned around!! Actually he walked up to Rich McCready and handed him a beer and Said " Do you remember me?" Rich said "yeah", and JT goes " I am the DJ that talked you up Fri night and played your songs, thanks a lot for mentioning me Sat night like you said you would" .(because of course nothing was mentioned about a DJ). Then JT handed him a beer and walked off!!! So yeah he wasn't very nice that Sat night.
