I'm just going to c/p what I put on the MS board...

Last night, my next door neighbors had their windows busted on their car. The front windshield and passenger/drivers windows. They were awoken to the cops knocking on their door to tell them this happened. Apparently, there were quite a few cars destroyed last night...the area around 9th and Catalpa to south of 4th and Catalpa. Last month the neighbors bus (Cuban bus) was broken into and a few items were taken and a mess was made. My car had been broken into 5 times last year and I did all I could to prevent it...but if they want it...they'll take it.

If a neighborhood posse has to be started to stop these idiots, then sobeit. I figured I'd alert all of you as to what's been going on lately. Someone has to put a stop to this!

What ticks me off is, I parked on the side of my house because the only option I have is to park in the street. I can't park in the alley (where I have a concrete slab) because the neighbor to the north of me has yet to clean up the fallen limbs/branches when her tree came down in the ice storm. When I parked on the side of my house TO STOP THE THIEVES FROM BREAKING INTO MY CAR...the city was called and they sent me a letter telling me I couldn't park there. WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?! Risk damage to my car because I'm killing MY grass with MY car parking there?!

It would benefit the nosy neighbors to look out for the important $hit rather than an issue that really doesn't matter!
