Unfortunately I love food too. Tomorrow I'll post a recipe I just got from a friend for a cookie. It sounds good but I haven't had a chance to try it. She says it's great and makes a big amount. Thanks Rejected for your recipe. I'll be trying that one too. Yum Yum!

Recipe for Avalanche:

2 and 1/2 lbs white almond bark
1.35 lbs creamy peanut butter
1/2 lb. rice krispies
.63 lbs. small marshmallows
1 lb. chocolate chips(I assume semisweet)

In a large pot on low heat slowly melt the almond bark. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter. Stir in the rice krispies. Allow to cool for about 2 minutes. Stir in marshmallows, then chocolate chips, saving a few to sprinkle on top. Lightly spray a 9 by 13 cake pan with cooking spray. Empty into pan and lightly press down with buttered fingers. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Cut into 1/2 inch blocks for serving.

I feel for you Goldengirls because I can't have it either. I have to just make it for others and maybe allow myself a taste. It sucks!

Oh MaaMaa - you are a wonderful woman. I have absolutely NO willpower and would eat half of it. I can't even have that stuff in the house.

I don't know if I"ll make it through Christmas season. I walk around Dillons and see all the fudge, cookies, pies for Christmas and it makes me drool. I try to avoid shopping anymore. I will definitely tell this kid that I sacrificed for him!

All the recipes sound wonderful.. I havent had chocolate in almost a month now... So as good as it sounds I wont be having any of the yummy goodies..

I have lost 16 pounds so far so that is my motivation to stay away from all that stuff.. I hope I make it through christmas...

Those sound awesome, MaaMaa! Just out of curiousity (and because I like it better than almond bark) do you think the almond bark could be substituted with white chocolate, or do you think it would be too thin then?

I think white chocolate would work and I also prefer it to the Almond bark. Also, congrats to Unique! You are doing great! You too Goldengirls even if it's for a different reason!
