It has now come down to people siphoning gas out of gas tanks around here. Locking gas caps HELP but if they get brave enough, they will poke holes in the tank itself and take it...then you're really screwed.

Right now the focus seems to be on a late model blue or dark colored van and he comes around late night or early morning hours. Shine a flashlight on this creep or yell...whatever to get his attention and let him know he's being watched. (He's been spotted in the Lakeside area.)

If you spot or hear of another vehicle doing this...please let us know.

Lovely.. I saw today that gas had gone up to 3.79...

I usually have to get 91 and saw that it was $3.99 up at Sara Jeans.

I just find some sort of humor in this...you drive around (using gas) to go steal other peoples gas and when you're spotted, you haul ass out of there (burning even more gas) to get out of the area and drive back home (using gas). It just seems to defeat the purpose to me.

Some people dont think though.... We used to have an old couple I remember when I was little, they would drive an extra 20 miles to the next town to save .20 cents on something from the grocery store.. It defeated the purpose then and really would now...

Hubby and I are considering getting bicycles to run up to the gas station for the times Steve needs cigarettes or we just want something small from the grocery store...

I sometimes walk up to Kabredlos on 4th to go get cigarettes or whatever...but that's usually if she has the car. I guess I could do it if the car was here. lol


A couple weeks ago, we wanted to go to the park and take Suki. Renee is almost at the car waiting to get in when I said, "Are we driving to the park?!" Its right THERE!

I'm so over the whole gas thing. Really. The needing it, the using it, the buying it, the listening to how its gone up, the listening to bitching about its going up, the bitching (yes, I do it too) about the gas prices going up....

Poor baby.
